I downloaded and install voxel voice changer some weeks ago. I viewed every video tutorial that I could find on youtube in hopes of finding a GOOD product to do voice annotations for video and my 3D animation work as well as use with skype and other voice enabled products. The headphone/mic headset that I have works with Audacity,Microsoft Voice recorder and every other application that I have on my computer that  can access the microphone but not with voxel voicechanger. Here is a link to the headset,

Here are scree shots of what I get when I try to use the with voxel.

You should try uninstalling Voxal, restart the computer, reinstall Voxal, restart the computer and start Voxal before other applications.

If you keep having the issue, enter a support ticket at http://www.nch.com.au/support/supportcontact.html

Ok I tried uninstalling, downloading again, restarting the computer and reinstalling. I get the same screens and the same results. The link you posted was to a page to download your various programs. Is there no support for the free version at all. If I cannot even get the free version to work why would I pay for something that does not work.

Yes I went to that page also and it looks like I will not get and answer from a live person unless  I purchase a "premium support" package. I did eventually get the software to work with a pre recorded speech clip that I recorded with voice recorder then used the process button in voxal voice changer to apply an effect. So it seems that part of the programs works but it will just not recognize my microphone.

Voxal Voice changer seems like a good program based on the YouTube videos that I have seen and the number of effects. Included with the program. But why would I pay for "premiums support' for a program that I am using on a trial or free basis when I cannot even get that version to work in the first place.
