How Do You Mix?

quote? quote? All I'm trying to do is review the answer to "kingpin's" question....Does this software have the capability to MIX ..... Please don't "overcome objections" to close a sale. Answer the question.....

you know....mix. I record a drum beat on track 1.

I "listen" to track 1 and play a guitar along with it.

Now I "listen" to track 1 & 2 and record my bass guitar.

Why stop now? Lets listen to tracks 1, 2 & 3 and play along, in

unison, simul-sync type enviornment and record a piano.

Then I fine tune the 4 tracks with a few special effects and other

"mixing" tricks (speed up the piano track and drop a few riffs

into the pattern/become song on the newly addend track 5.

Volumes where I want em'. Noise reductions been utilized.

Did a fancy fade out with volume while I faded in John Lennon

saying something about "egg men" goo, goo, ga, jooba..

(know copyright enfringement there, I recorded the fade in

ontop of the 5 tracks. BACKWORDS.

mIX. CAN YOUR SOFTWARE MIX.

J.L.: "i buried paul"

Y.O.: " I'm very bored"

J.M.: "i never snore "

THANKS !!!!!!

I know how to record my voice and I know how to also record the track I want to record on but since WavePad doesn't allow you to do both at once I don't know how to match my voice with the beat so everything sounds on time and good. How do I mix it right?

There is a way to get around this problem:

~ Play the music by using WavePad

~ At the same time, record your voice by using RecordPad. RecordPad is available to download from our website at www.nch.com.au/recordpad.

~ After finish recording your voice in RecordPad, save it as a file on your local drive.

~ Now use the option Edit->Mix File in WavePad to mix the voice file with your music track file.

thanks for the help first off. but, even when I use the recordpad i don't know how to mix the voice properly over the beat i'm tryin to record on. like my voice is totally off beat. i hear the beat and voice at the same time, i just don't know how to blend them so everything sounds on beat.

If its any help, ive found a good way to mix two songs together so it all sounds ok. I fade the last bit of the first sound out and the first part of the new song in, overlap them and then amplify the two faded parts to match the sound levels of the rest of the songs. The two mix together then perfectly and the beats are not out of sync as they would of been if i did not fade either of them.
