No live preview when changing webcam settings.

Hello,

 

I'm using a Lifecam Cinema webcam with Debut and every time I try to adjust its settings (focus, brightness etc) the main preview is paused. Is there a way to change these settings while being able to see "live" what I'm changing? I feel like this should be the normal procedure, unless I'm overlooking something.

First of all, cool action figure, it looks vintage. Is it collectible? The helmet doesn't show the Rebellion symbol, that caught my eye.

 

Anyway, as your second screenshot states "While adjusting these settings, the main preview will be paused. Do you still want to change device settings?"

Debut is designed to pause the preview while adjusting the camera settings and cannot be changed.

Yo. Made an account, just to help you

 

1. Open Debut, Go to device Settings, Preview will stop
2. Open Default WIN10 Camera App (It will render, since Debut stoppped using the webcam at the moment)
3. Snap both windows next to each other
4. Profit.
