mike5256
Please forgive my inexperience, but I am very new to this. I am working with the basic edition of WavePad. I am attempting to record some old LP's. Using WavePad I am able to record from my stereo, but the sound is very distorted, almost like it is getting too much signal. Is there a setting on my PC that needs to be changed, or a setting on WavePad? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
nchngoc
You may try to lower the record volume. Turn down the record volume by 10db and test it; if the sound is still distored then continue to turn down by 10db. Just repeat the steps until you get the sound with the expected quality. The record volume that we usually recommend to our customers is -30db.
