Foot pedal rewind

Hello, I recently downloaded the software onto a windows 10 machine. I cannot get the foot pedal to rewind when it's released. It stays exactly where I leave off. I need it to rewind about 5 seconds. I've changed the options, but it only rewinds if I manually press down the bar. When I release my foot it always went back a little. Please help I have 30 hours to do and I don't know what's going on.

Go to the Playback options page and about half-way down there is "backstep on stop (ms)" - I have set mine to 1700 ms, but you have a play and see what suits you.
