voxal is unable to detect a audio stream but it can hear my mic?

Okay so I have been using voxal for about a week or so now and it worked fine for the longest time but now when i try to record with it i dont get ANY of the effect at all i've been sitting here for a hour or more i tried reinstalling it i tried unplugging my mic i checked it was on the right device but nothing! there is no audio bar like the mic is active and this pops up

I know the device i am using works with voxal because i've been using it for awhile now idk whats going on and i need voxal for my voice acting X_X could someone help me fix this?

The reasons why that may have stopped working varies, it could be a driver update or a wrong setting. Please contact NCH software's support team for further assistance on this matter. You may also want to confirm in your Windows Audio settings and confirm you have the right recording device selected within those options.

Is there a way to fix that yet i use the right mic i can hear myself but my voice isnt changed
