uc20112
Hi, I used to be able to enter a POSITIVE frequency in the left channel and a NEGATIVE frequency in the right channel and demonstrate destructive interference in sound since this produced two out of phase sound waves from the left and right speakers. With the new version it restricts the frequency range to be positive values only. Is there a way around this? Is there a way to get the left and right channels to be OUT OF PHASE? I will be purchasing a new version if this is possible! Thanks!
Chris75
Hello, Currently the program only offers the option to create tones with positive frequency numbers between 1 and 22000 Hz.
PeteS
Hi, I have a similar problem. I want to demonstrate Fourier Synthesis. That is easy for a square wave but triangle and sawtooth waves need a phase reversal on odd tones. The obvious way to specify the phase reversals is to give the tones concerned a negative frequency. An even better solution would allow the relative phase of the tone to be specified. So why no negative frequencies?
