No. of Bars on each print line

Is there a way to print a specific number of bars per line?

 

Most readers prefer a fixed number - usually 4 per print line. it's easier to mentally follow phrases

and chord sequences.

Currently there is no feature in Crescendo which allows you to relayout your score with a specific number of bars per line. However, I like the idea and we have added it to our todo list. It should be available in the near future.

I have also struggled with this and I suddenly have lines which only contains one bar. Anyone who can give me a tip on how to make this look good?

I just bought this software and have run into the same problem. I see no further comments since 2017 on this question. Has this issue been resolved some how? How can I control the number of bars per line, or control the bar widths? How can I prevent the system from creating a line of four bars followed by a line of one bar, etc. This must have been fixed by now.

You can limit the number of bars in the layour tab _ you can then apend or delete bars as you wish. To tidy the spacing right click and click on auto- format measure.
