borate
Select two or more clips and click the arrow to the right of VIDEO EFFECTS. Choose an effect - scale, for example. An APPLY TO ALL choice appears... Indeed, the scale effect has been added to the effects list for all clips, but no opportunity was given to adjust scale, affecting all clips simultaneously. If this the behavioral intent of APPLY TO ALL it seems to have no useful purpose?
Nationalsolo
Hi V. 4.05 ..... This must be a bug unless we are doing it wrong.. The applied effect data screen (e.g. SCALE) does seem to get associated with each of the selected clips which may be correct, (press the FX on each clip to see) but there are no values at this point. Entering SCALE values into clip 1 does not transfer the values to the other selected clips as one might expect. Nat
c_major
Yes, Apply To All definitely need more works. We should see the effect dialog and should be able to preview any selected clip when applying to multiple clips. The effects are applied with the default parameters, which is 100% in case of scaling and has no effects. This behavior simply wrong and make it useless. Thanks for bringing it up. daorus
In context menu for each clip there are Cut Copy Paste (insert) Paste (overwrite) Paste (overlay) So, why not to add Cut (Ctrl + X) Copy (Ctrl + C) Copy effects (Ctrl + Shift + C) Paste (insert) (Ctrl + V) Paste (overwrite) Paste (overlay) Paste effects (Ctrl + Shift + V) How difficult is this feature to be implemented?? I have a feeling that it is quite easy to code...
c_major
Copy/Paste effects could be a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion!
