Record Individual Mics onto Individual Tracks?

Hello,

 

I am trying to use an Akai EIE interface with Mixpad for multitrack recording. It works fine, mostly. Audio sounds good, etc. However, I cannot get it to isolate each mic onto it's own track. Each track records sound from all the mics. What needs to be done to seperate the mics onto their own track? I've poured over the settings and such, but to no avail.
