saving project for later

I created a video using text, music, still pics and video clips. Saved project as.....when I open the project the still pics, music and text play but only the audio of the video clips. Rebuilt project exported as wmv it played on media player great. When I put project back into video pad editor same problem...pics, music and text but only video clips audio. Help

are you using the "free version"? it doesn't support saving the project file. either that or its a horrible bug that no one cares to fix.

Using the non-registered 3.24 (beta) I saved a standard-definition project that contained stills, video w/audio and a separate music track. FILE|SAVE PROJECT AS.

Closed VP, reopened and imported the project. Played fine, as it did when the project was exported as a WMV and opened in Media Player Classic.

Sorry, that's incorrect....You can save your project in VP all versions...this is the vpj file. But with the free version you can only render your product, that is output it, to your PC as mpeg avi and wmv the other formats are disabled. If you can't save your project as the vpj file then there is something wrong. If this is the case I would re-install VP from the setup.exe file you downloaded, or revert to a previous version.

Yes, very strange. I had the same issue as electrodude102, in that I could not save the project file (file->save or save as...). I fully uninstalled then re-installed, and I can now save again. Not sure why, but it's good for now.
