Burned in time code on video not matching time code on player

I copy/paste timecode after setting an offset to match burned-in timecodes on my videos, as I'm an entertainment transcriber. How do I slow down Express Scribe's player time code to be the same speed as the video's time code. Express Scribe is running the time code a little too fast. If this makes ANY SENSE to anyone, please let me know a work around. I essentially need to slow down Express Scribe's time code but not slow down the video. Yeah, complicated, I know. Any suggestions will be miraculous!!!!
