Papa Tom
Hi, all. I'm brand new to this software, having found it during a search for "free DJ software." I'm not a professional DJ, but I do provide background music for many events in my hometown, at work, and on my block. I do not get paid for any of this, which is why I really like the idea of a "free" playback solution. Other than basic playback, the only features I need are Shuffle and Auto Play. So do I need to get a license for Zulu, or can I just keep using it after the 14-day trial period? Also, I would need to install it on a personal laptop and on two desktops at work so that each computer can feed different music to different rooms. Right now, I am using iTunes (the devil) for free, so it wouldn't be worthwhile if I have to buy multiple licenses. So I guess I need to know exactly WHAT comes with the "free" version of this software, as NCH doesn't make this info easily available on the pre-purchase Q&A. I'm willing to pay SOMETHING for this software to support the developer and to bid good riddance to iTunes, but it needs to be reasonable.
