Dvf not plays in windows 2000 but in XP

Hi ..

Could anyone sort out this issue..DVF to Mp3/Wav conversion is not possible if the OS is windows 2000 even if we have installed sonu plugin for media player.. but it is working fine if the OS is windows XP/2003 .. can anybody suggest a solution for this ..
