How to turn off the metronome for a track

I'm mixing a track and have somehow managed to turn on a metronome beat in the background. How do I remove this from the track? Any help would be appreciated - thank you!

Below the track control along the left, are a series of four icons. The one on the right is the toggle for the metronome.

I have metronome sounding all through playback. The metronome toggle has no effect. Therefore, the program is useless, till I can sort this. I am not happy !

I'd not call Mixpad useless, even if you can't figure this out.
