Guest adderd
I'm using Switch to convert WMA files to MP3. System Specs: 1.8Ghz P4 512MB Ram 40GB HDD WinXp Home SP2 The saving of MP3's is fast but the decoding of WMA files takes longer than the WMA would have normally even played for. It is taking me HOURS to convert just a few CD's. During the WMA decode the processor is at like 10%. During MP3 encode it hits 100%. What is going on???? nchtj
wma files need to be decoded before being converted, that is why it takes longer. Plus the wma decoding code is written by microsoft and not us (and we can't change that).
