jgeissin Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 I want to use Mixpad with plugins (such as MaxxBASS and others) for live mixing. I've gotten the system to record, and then playback, but I'm not interested in recording, I just want a straight mixer. I cannot get the output to act as monitors or standard outputs while an input channel is active. I hope to be able to use it with either a USB or Firewire interface to get multiple channels going at the same time. Thanks! vapors Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 I hope someone more knowledgeable than I will jump in here, but these forums are severely lacking in user participation. I can’t offer a suggestion for another software that is better suited to your needs (I am sure there is one), and I don’t want to discredit MixPad (as it works wonderfully for my uses) but I don’t think this program is geared toward ‘live’ mixing in the manner your post suggest you require.
