pioneerfan00
Hi all. Whenver I try to record something from my tape player to the computer's line in or mic, the byte comes back in ultra fast speed. Even when I slow the speed down of the byte, it is still distorted and sounds like a chipmunk. Any ideas? I have made sure that the play back speed is normal. Thanks! TAKICIHILA
Hi Pioneer: While this has never happened to me, I did see this thread in another forum. Maybe it'll help: http://audacityteam.org/forum/forum.php?re...read&id=165 Jerry Try these steps: On your express scribe click settings>playback settings. Then under Rewind and Fast-Forward choose the CONSTANT SPEED mode... not the increasing speed (which is responsible for the chipmunk sound)... then click OK. You can adjust the speed on the main window lower right corner.
