Is it possible to hardcode an srt file into the video using this software?

Yes and no. VideoPad seems to support .ssa file but not .srt files. The way around this is to download a "non-install" tool called Subtitle Workshop and convert the .srt to an .ssa file. After that open videopad, load the video, click subtitles and locate the .ssa file. Then Click "Add+Continue" button. If it works it'll show the time stamp of the subtitles as well as the text in the box. I've done this with one movie that had a few non-english scenes and needed the english subs for just those parts. The only issue I had is that I change the font size of the subtitles but after I encode the video the subtitles still look standard size instead of the size I specified.
