loquin
I noticed a pair of calls to Lightning PDF printer in the system scheduler after installation: "C:\Program Files\NCH Software\LightningPDF\lightningpdf.exe" -sevendays and "C:\Program Files\NCH Software\LightningPDF\lightningpdf.exe" -shakeicon What us the program doing when it's called in this way, and why is there no mention of it in the documentation? (not mentioning it makes it appear that something might be going on, that you might not want to be known...)

Many applications (not just those from NCH Software) use scheduled tasks to do things like check for updates or maintenance. This way, these things can be performed even if the application is not ran. This is especially useful for Lightning PDF because it is a driver and the main application is hardly, if ever, used.
