Burning CDs with mixed audio and data

I know that this topic was asked and answered several years ago, but wanted to see if there has been any update...

 

Can (or will it ever) Express Burn create CD with mixed audio and data content? This would be a nice feature to have and it exists in many competing products. It would useful for the types of projects such as transfering vinyl LPs and cassette tapes to the digital domain, because it would enable the inclusion of scans of artwork, provenance notes, and other material with the recordings. Putting it on a separate disk really isn't practical.
