USB Audio device recognised but not recording

I use the Eminent EM3705 video grabber (standard version) and tried the Debut Video capture on a XP Professional.

In the software package Arcsoft Showbiz DVD2 video and audio are captured both.

In the Debut package I can select the USB EMP audio device and via the control panel the vulume is on.

via the sound panel the recording is set also to the USB EMP audio device both in audio and microfone.

However audio is not recorded.

When I bypass the audio via the standard Realteck 97 line in the record is OK.

Have anyone an idea where between windows and debut the audio is blocked?

Do you have "Stereo Mix" or "What you hear" available in your device list?

If not, check your realtek driver. I had a similar issue - none of my devices worked for sound. Video OK, no sound.

Downloaded and installed the most current driver from RealTek (or your motherboard manufacturer) and Stereo Mix suddenly appeared and audio was good to go.
