VRS on Ubuntu 9.10

Hello,

 

I have downloaded VRS for linux version and tried installing on Ubuntu 9.10.

 

After launching VRS application, i tried to add a new channel (Eg:- Channel 2: Right as mono where as Channel 1: Left as mono.) resulting VRS application hanged.

 

I tried installing VRS using wine2.1 on ubuntu 9.10, installation was successful and i am able to configure two independent channels but here the problem is iam not able to make recording ON/OFF using a VRS remote control.

 

As my requirement is VRS (Native version)should work on ubuntu 9.10 with VRS remote control operation

 

or

 

VRS (windows version)should work on ubuntu 9.10 with VRS remote control operation

 

 

can any one help me...!!!!

hola Rajaní, no logro entender bien, pero espero poder atinarle, ya que no manejo bien el ingles, hoy yo instale el ubuntu 13.04 en mi pc y lo hice del siguiente modo:

 

1.- descargas la version para linux del vrs.

2.- entrsa como root a un terminal # sudo -i

3.- descomprime el archivo tar.gz usando los comandos:

# tar zxvf vrs.tar.gz

- en la carpeta donde descargaste el archivo vrs.tar.gz se creara un archivo llamado vrs.

4.- en tu terminal como root escribes # apt-get install vrs y se instalara el vrs

 

espero te aya servido de algo.
