Free Version 2.20

I have loaded ver 2.20 but haven't registered it yet. I have added multiple tracks from our church service and want to combine them into one mp3 file. I Load the clips (the ripped tracks). I hit the play button at the bottom of the project window and it plays 10 seconds fine, then I hear overlapping audio from another track, ten seconds later a third track is overlapping. I perviously used Nero soundTrax to accomplish this task. The steps were the same, but the ripped tracks didn't overlap. What gives???
