SGal Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 I'm using a VEC Infinity USB-2 foot pedal with my MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard (OSX 10.6) and Express Scribe v. 4.30 Intel. It was working just fine yesterday. Today I go to start up and Express Scribe is not recognizing that the pedal is there. I have repaired my permissions, restarted, unplugged and re-plugged the cable and continue to get the message "The selected port or device could not be opened." I had this happen a couple of days ago and switched to a different USB port and it started to work. Of course I'm in the middle of a time-sensitive job and really need this. Can anyone help? Express Scribe Support Also make sure you check the Windows Express Scribe forum as often Mac users post there not knowing there is a Mac forum.
