Importing text into FastFox

On the sales page, it says FastFox has the "ability to import text from files or paste from the clipboard." Does this mean that a list of simple text shortcuts and expansions can be imported into the program from, say, Excel or Word or Access? If so, how does it work? I tried using the "load" option with a test file in Excel, but nothing happened.

 

If it doesn't mean that shortcuts/expansions can be imported as a file, what does it mean?

Hello,

"ability to import text from files or paste from the clipboard." please note that it says "from files" not "as files". So if you type up a paragraph in word then select all (Ctrl+A), copy what you have selected (Ctrl+C) and then open up a new short cut in FastFox and paste (Ctrl+V) you have imported or copied text from a file.
