Web streaming no longer works?

I just installed my second copy of VRS recording system, and the latest installation does not stream audio from the web interface (it downloads the file instead). The original installation (which is still in operation) streams fine. I've tried different client computers and compared the VRS settings and I can't see what's causing this problem.

 

My original VRS is version 5.18 (it works) and the last installation is 5.21 (it doesn't work).

 

Any ideas?

Well, I only have my Mac right now so Chrome is out for me. But Safari is based on WebKit like Chrome, and it fails to stream audio just like Firefox and Explorer. As far as I can tell, there is no streaming audio of any kind for version 5.21 of VRS. I wish I had installed the older 5.18 version because this makes VRS nearly useless for me.

So I guess nobody has any ideas why VRS can't stream audio anymore??!?

 

Is this a deliberate "feature retrograde" or was it accidental?
