help please

Hi All

 

I am using eyeline 1.0 and using the motion detection and I cant view the saved AVI files nor can I when recording, have tried all codec's installed with no change apart from some not even giving me a file to try and view, all files are 64KB with a length of 00:00:00 no matter how I try and do it.

 

using an external cam with night vision connected to a WinFast DTV1000 T WDM Video Capture card (can view and motion detection messages are displayed when movement detected and file recorded)

 

 

System Specs are:

Vista 32 bit Ultimate

64bit AMD 5200 X2

4 gig DDR2 800

1 TB HDD

Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS

had Klite Codec installed now removed with no change.

 

Have tried it with H264web cam and it records with the files viewable, just the prog does not suit me like eyeline.

 

any suggestions muchly appreciated.
