"Could not open source video file"?

Recommended Posts

I tried converting some videos from my camera that are saved as .MOV files to .AVI or .WMV files to use in Windows Movie Maker. They open with Quicktime Player, the only one that will actually open them. I get the "Could not open source video file" error every time, and I even use the FFMPEG option, I even tried it off. Help?
