Guest Alan
Hi, I don't know if it is the right way or not, but I use "Amplify" under "Effects". Depending upon how quiet it is, I will use 120-130%. Another way is to up the record input volume either on your source, on the window's volume control, or on the record session itself... Best wishes! Alan G. Helena, Mt. gmrv@yahoo.com <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hello, Amplify is the best way to increase the volume of your sound files (if set too low). I like that better because if I increase too much, I can Ctrl+Z (undo amplify) if I go too far. Sometimes I amplify 400%, but now instead I just set at 120% and do it as many times as I want. If you go the other way and increase the input volume on your source, you have to be careful you are not recording at too high a level or you will get clicks in your recorded music. Hope that helps.
