acrowdie Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 Hello, I am testing out Axon with IMS and IVM and I can't get something to work. I have set up one incoming SIP line and one outgoing. The incoming is linked to call group 701 which answers with a 'thanks for calling, please hold' message and then links to the on hold server to play music before calling on extension 101. I have set up my GrandStream BT101 as extension 101 on the system. I can dial 701 or 197 on this phone and it will work as planned - on 701 I get the start message and then the hold, and then on 197 I get the hold music. However when I ring the dial-in number from an external landline or mobile phone, I cannot hear anything - just silence. However, extension 101 rings and I can answer that and audio is fine. So to clarify, when the pre-recorded messages should be playing - either out of Axon or our of IMS - they aren't, but when I pick up extn 101 I can talk as normal. Do you have any ideas as to why this is? As previously mentioned I will be looking to buy the software if it works and I can demonstrate it to my boss!
