Answering and then Hanging up

I have Agere win Modem, with latest Drivers installed.

I am running windows XP.

IVM works fine when i run it in sim. and seem to be brillent.

when a call comes through. see's the call and pops up saying Unknown. as i know Agere modem does not support Caller ID.

it says Call Answered. then Call Disconeted.

when i listen to the call from the other end. its just ringing out.

if leave it ringing. it will do this process over and over again with same call.

IVM is on, and i have selected a OGM.

I had this setup working perfect with an older version of IVM. but this new version does not seem to work.

I have look at setting and checked my modem is set for UK setup. as i am in UK.

i do not know what else to do. as tried everything i can think off and have no idea why its answering then hanging up straight away.

any idea's?

We've seen this issue with other modems, the problem comes down to the modem trying to connect the call before IVM has had a chance to pick it up. Then after IVM tries to pick it up, it gets ignored by the modem because it thinks the call is already connected. So then the call disconnects.

If you wish to confirm this, please email tech support for more assistance (in IVM go to Help menu -> Technical Support Page and click the weblink at the bottom).
