This is 100th attempt to configure BroadCam Software with an ip camera. I've used different camera manufacturers. I've used different workstation with different Operating Systems: Windows 7 and Windows 10. Also, different networks scenarios were utilized. The same error message appears "Failure Starting Video Camera". I received the same message using a usb webcam. Quite frustrating... IP Camera work fine with browser. Each workstation were clean installs without A/V or any non-essential software. Initially, I purchased the software and after 3 weeks requested a refund. I'm
Hello, I just installed the demo of this product... I had high hopes... But when I go to create a new stream... I enter the rtsp url of our ip camera... It says "invalid url"/ Does this software support rtsp from Ip cameras? Also, do you guys have an enterprise version that supports many many cameras? Thanks
Hi I cannot get the broadcom software to connect to an rtsp stream from an ip camera. I can connect to the stream just fine from vlc or any other application that accepts rtsp input. I am wondering if perhaps i am entering the wrong format for the rtsp stream for broadcom to interpret. To access the stream in VLC player i enter a full address as follows eg. "rtsp://192.168.1.20:554/av0_1" I enter the same string into broadcom under raw url mode and i cannot connect. I am wondering should i be putting a different version of the string into this raw url. Is broadcom taking this u
