Help! Wavepad is eating up all the memory on my Macbook! I have a 2019 Macbook Pro with Catalina iOS and 512gb memory. Evidently when I load (or save?) a file into Wavepad it creates a bunch of files in my Macbook's Library->Application Support->Wavepad directory. After loading and editing a dozen mp3 files of 45-90mb each, the Wavepad directory now has an astonishing 54+ Gb of files -- that's over 10% of my hard drive's capacity! The culprits seem to be files with an .aud suffix -- 21.aud, 4.aud, 37.aud, etc. Some of them are over a gig apiece in size -- much larger than the original files I'm working with. Has anyone else run into this?

My slideshow has gotten large enough that every editing step takes the computer a really long time (and I get "non responding" message). It's very difficult to get anything done. Is there anything I do to get more memory? Can I adjust any of the cache options? (PS my slideshow is about 4 minutes with approx. 250 photos.)

I just downloaded express scribe (trial version), and when I tried loading a file it told me that it can't create a copy because it's copyrighted or there is not enough memory on my computer. I made sure it's not copyrighted, can it really be that I don't have enough memory on my computer? I cleaned out my TEMPS folder not too long ago...And it plays normally in Windows Media Player. How can I tell if I don't have enough memory, and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance!
