I'm not sure whether I found a bug or I'm doing something wrong, but there's a problem inserting clips (Videopad Windows version 8.23 beta and previous versions): 1. Load 3 MP4 clips (or more, doesn't matter) into the video clip bin 2. After that, select 2 clips in the video bin and drag them into the timeline 3. Now drag clip 3 into the timeline, between clip 1 and clip 2, but don't drop it yet 4. While pressing the left mouse button, some kind of "grey shadow" appears over clip 2. Note that the shadow changes its size, if you move the mouse arrow to the right and to the left. Righ

Ok whilst I await a new improved version to fix the bug with the .VOB files out of sync problem I thought I would try a different approach. I took a VOB file and converted it to MP4 in Prism then imported it to VideoPad successfully. All was fine and the audio was in sync with the video (unlike with the original in sync VOB version which goes out of sync when imported direct to VP) but the original quality of the audio needed cleaning up beyond what VideoPad was capable of doing so I chose to edit the audio file direct in WavePad from VideoPad. This I completed successfully and then close

Hi, I have an existing video of a narrator. She wants to add her Powerpoint slides into the video, as the videographer didn't record them. I converted her Powerpoint slides into still images. Now, I want to insert them each place where she talks about them. I don't want to interrupt her audio, so I split her audio and video, but I also don't want to get them out of sync. So, I created a video track 2 for the jpgs of her slides. This is working fine, but instead of cutting between the slides and her video, I'd like to crossfade between the two... looks smoother and less "MTV."

Hi all Currently working on a project with 100+ short clips that are all on the timeline. Timeline run time is 30 mins. This project at the moment uses just Video track 1 and Audio track 1 with a single overlay title at the start. Intending to insert an unused clip at a certain point, I positioned the cursor at the insert position. I right clicked the clip in the clip bin and selected Place on Sequence at the Cursor. Instead on inserting the clip at the cursor as it should have done it placed the clip at the cursor but on Video track 2. as shown below.... Stepped back with

Whoa! I have a video of a narrator. I want to add the still images from her Powerpoint by dissolving back and forth between her and the slides. In order to keep the original video synchronized I kept it as Track 1, but separated it from the audio. That way, I can split it into video clips if needed for transitions back and forth. But, each time I add a still to video Track 2, everything stays put nicely. But I have to change the "speed" of each image so it appears for the right length of time. When I do change it to, say 30 percent speed, everything else, including the audio trac

If I have a sequence composed of a number of different video clips, I have NO Problem inserting the next video clip at the end of the sequence. However, I can't figure out how to insert a video clip at the front (the start) of a sequence. Similarly, I can't figure out how to insert a video clip between two other video clips that are already in the sequence. Is VideoPad capable of such insertions, OR am I asking for too much here????
