I am starting with a CONSTANT Frame Rate video...I have tried many different Export settings (always choosing a CONSTANT option), as well as Lossless... Every single time I get a VARIABLE Frame Rate video after conversion. I appreciate any advice or insight as to why this is happening. resubmitting this question with tags in the hope that mods approve it. I just installed to version 10.70 and am not loving the considerable difference in frame rate when the cursor moves across a file as it plays. I've found that closing all other applications and turning off my wifi helps the program run a little better. Does anyone have any advice for making the software look a little smoother?

so I just went to my local computer store ... according to him, I should not be having this issue related to ram ... or anything else regarding my pc... I have an I5 laptop with 4 gigs of ram... my issue is when I record the video itself is not only out of sync but displaying faster than the sound... as though it is set to 1.5x or 2x somewhere in the settings .... however it does this randomly... other times it records at regular speed but simply be out of sync... and there are other times when it does not have any issue at all... i have just un installed and newly reinstalled the program itself... i am not sure what the issue is at this point... so i thought i would try here before spending money on ram or something else that would not fix the issue i am having... wondering if anyone else ever faced this issue and was able to fix it... using debut 3.01 i5 4gigs of ram

Is there a way to fix the frame rate in Debut 4.0? I use Cubase to edit audio in my videos, and it uses standard frame rates. When I set my frame rate limit to 30 fps it records at 28.98 and is incompatible with Cubase, which accepts 29.97 and 30. I need to be able to record at a fixed 30 fps in order to use it with Cubase.

A big problem I seem to keep having with VideoPad is that frames of video clips covered in layered multi video track editing come out visible in the export. This happens to only some video clips. Yes I've cleared unused cache files and it still happens. Another problem I've had which I'm not sure is fixed now is videos appearing later than they should as dictated in editing when they have nothing but space preceding them on the timeline. I put a blank text image before them to avert this and have stuck with it, so I'm not sure if it's been fixed by now. And thirdly, I often see certain clips being lower than expected frame rate than other clips, assuming this isn't merely a fault of the computer I'm using; a HP laptop that isn't a very powerful computer.

Hello, I just installed Debut video capture software, and tried a new webcam with it. The camera has very low frame rate displayed and I can't really use it. When the recording is played back everything looks very blurry when the camera moves or if something moves in front of it it is very slow. Under Encoder Options I tried changing the video quality compression setting between low and to high and it wasn't improved. Under Video Options I tried to increase the frame rate but the maximum allowed is 30 fps. I haven't used a webcam before but this is much worse than my phone. Should the video appear clear if the frame rate is 30 fps? How can I make this better? Is there a problem with the webcam possibly? Thanks

No matter what the frame rate is of the video I import, clicking on next frame always advances 0.040 seconds or 25 frames per second. Why and how can I view each individual frame at higher rates such as 60, 120 or 240? Thanks!

I have version 3.61 for Windows, running on Windows 7. Everything works fine, but when I export a sequence to file, the dialogue box specifies a MAXIMUM frame rate. My original clips are 1080p, recorded at a fixed frame rate of 25 fps. If I specify 25 fps (PAL) for the output file, the resulting video, regardless of format (e.g. AVI, MP4) or codec (e.g. H.264, mpeg-2), will be written with a VARIABLE frame rate. Mediainfo will report the video as having a frame rate of anywhere between 8 and 25 fps, with an average of 23.8 fps. Now, upload sites such a Vimeo, have a preference for video files to be recorded with a CONSTANT frame rate. Regardless of this, I wish for my output files to have a constant frame rate, matching the recorded clips. My question is therefore... How do I export a video file with a specified constant frame rate rather than the variable rate that Videopad seems to produce? Thanks.

My security cameras are recording at 10 Framerate. When I play them in Videopad, they are 3X too fast. When I Save Video and set it at Frame Rate 10, the output video is still 3X too fast. The filetype of the camera video is .264 How do I handle this problem?
