Hi all, new user here. VideoPad Free 6.30 Windows 8.1 Managed to create a video using 3 clips and my own titles, software seems great but am confused on couple of points : (1) When I went to Export a pop-up directed me towards a paid version but I was able to dismiss it and continue regardless. So is this a trial version that has an expiry date or is it truly free for home use in perpetuity? If the latter, what features are restricted? (2) I exported in .wmv format and the resulting 3 minute video file is 26.2 MB but exactly the same video created by Windows Movie Maker is 495 MB ! I can't detect any difference in playback quality on my laptop, so what's the reason for the size discrepancy? Thanks in anticipation.

I have been receiving files from Express Scribe through a server for a long time, only once when the dictation was over 60 min it refused to upload. Now even when it will upload at that end, it gives me a 'invalid file size' error when I try to load it at my end. The dictation is between 20 and 30 min on these files. It has happened twice this week and prior to that files over 40 min would load. What could have changed? and how do I get around this? I am using the free version, the files are being loaded from Express Scribe Pro. I can see the downloaded files in the folder with windows explorer, but Express Scribe does not 'see' the and I get the error message Thanks

hello all i have videopad v3.89 using window 7 i recently updated my videopad software to v3.89 before my update, i was able to export a 40 second video, using the setting of "youtube HD-1080p" in wmv format. and the size of this video was approx 16 to 18 mb after my update, if i export the same video using the same settings, the output video is approx 40 mb (way too big) am i doing something wrong? did they change something with the export in the newer version? how can i get the smallest file size, that is able to open on all pc's and on all mobile devices thanks in advance
