I am having an issue with Express Scribe continuously not responding. I have tried the patch for the new version. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have even tried contacting tech support on numerous occasions with no help. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if so, what you did to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

How many computers can I use the same license number on? I like to go back and forth on my laptop and Mac. Do I need to buy the Express Scribe Pro software for each one or can I just buy 1 and install it on my laptop and Mac? And will my foot pedal work on both of them?

Similar issue needing to transcribe data but accessing work computer via VPN protocol. Using Foot pedal from kit with software - able to install foot pedal on office computer, and setup in place. However, the same brand/model foot pedal (a duplicate) is not responding and software shows correct controller, and VPN accesses local peripherals and plug ins. Will keep working on this but are there any updates available to allow VPN protocol?

Hi there, I've been using Express Scribe Pro for several months with the standard wired headphones and Alto Edge foot pedal that came with my kit and Windows 10. They have been working well. I recently bought a set of bluetooth noise-cancelling headphones that work well for music and other things. However, when I use them for transcribing audio files through Express Scribe Pro, they work fine for a while, but when I stop the playback to catch up on typing, I can't restart playback with the foot pedal, keyboard or on-screen controls. The only way I can continue the playback is to re-s

Hi, a colleague recently registered her Express Scribe software and imported several .wav files. Nothing is audible when she tries to play them and no activity is visible in the dB value box (indicating to me that the software isn't reading any audio in the files). However she can hear the files when she plays them on Windows Media Player on her computer and I can hear them when I play them in my Express Scribe Pro on my computer. The only file she can hear when using Express Scribe Pro on her computer is a .wma file. I'm stumped. It looks like others have had possibly similar issues with

When loading a .mov file to Express Scribe Pro, I received an error saying, "Video File Open Failed". Does anyone have a solution for this? This is the first time I've had this issue and I have a major deadline with a new client (of course). I have already tried re-started my computer.

I have tried two different Infinity IN-USB-2 pedals, both of which do not work well with my foot, which was honed on Dictaphone and Sony equipment. The problem: I stop listening for a few seconds by lifting my foot from the pedal, and then push the middle of the pedal to restart the recording - except it won't start. I move my foot to change the position of my toe on the pad - and nothing happens, even with repeated attempts and various foot positions. Sometimes I can hit the reverse or forward and things will resume, and other times the playback just won't resume regardless of what I do.

Just like the title says. I bought it for my portable computer, but I'd like to put it on my new laptop. I saw that you can't register two versions with the same registration code. Does this mean I have to buy it twice? Thanks, all. MG

Express Scribe Pro keeps cutting off the audio on DS2 file types. After verifying the integrity of my DS2 files, I've spent countless hours looking for a way to fix the problem. The "file converters" did not work and only replicated the problem after the file was converted. After countless hours of trying to fix this, I had to call the customer to tell them I could not finish the job (and probably lost the customer over this). It was an urgent project and I had delayed them enough. Uninstalled the ES Pro version to try and go back to my free version that I used and worked fine for yea
