🤔😔 So disappointing, this Desk FX equalizer by NCH. TASK: to control audio output on Windows 10 OS computer using audio equalizer with audio compressor effects ( functions). I though, I have finally found a relatively simple software ( in DeskFX) to control my audio output from windows 10 PC to my amplifier and 7.1 speaker system, BUT... no.... it does not work... The amplifier is OK... I can even set GAIN, but I CANNOT APPLY ANY COMPRESSION to the PC audio output....COMPRESSOR DOES NOT WORK ON THIS software. I cannot compress the audio output from the audio PC card !!!??? I just wanted to control the video scenes, emphasize dialog in movies and in other video recordings, and compress the high dB level of the action scenes audio... I cannot do it with this NCH software. SAD... thank you

What is the best and easiest way to equalize the volume on my 70,000 MP3 files with Switch Plus version 4.17? I do not want to lose any dynamic properties, just want equal volume.

I discovered the following two problems with the audio effect "equalizer" (VideoPad version 7.01 beta): 1. Put any video clip into the timeline 2. Click on "FX" (audio track) and add "Equalizer" 3. Configure the equalizer, and change the graph (don't leave it flat). 4. Problem #1: Try to "Save Preset" - no matter which name you enter, you always get the error "You are not allowed to have a user preset name {your name} same as VideoPad's given preset name". You can't save it. 5. Continue with "Apply" 6. Now split the video clip (e.g. using key "l") into two clips 7. Click on "FX" (audio track) of the second clip and then on "Configue Equalizer". 8. Problem #2: The graph is flat! Splitting the clip seems to reset the graph for the second half of the clip. Can you confirm these problems?

When I click on the Audio Effects menu, and choose Equalizer, a small window comes up with a button that says 'Configure Equalizer...' Clicking the button opens the Equalizer window with all its options. I can click everything, make changes, etc., but when I click 'Apply', the window disappears, and the original window with the 'Configure Equalizer...' button is still there. I see no way to work with the actual Equalizer itself. What am I doing wrong?

Does WavePad v. 7.12 contain or support a graphic audio equalizer than can be used for playback and recording?

I'm watching a fight scene involving two women fighting, but the noises from that fight scene are lower than the foreground noise of two other characters talking while the two women are fighting. the noise from the women fighting is the background noise and the secondary characters whom are sitting down and talking while the fighting is occurring makes it hard to listen to the fight scene involving the two women that I want to hear.
