Hello everyone - new here. I have been using Express Scribe (Pro) for years and years, no (major) issues with the DS2 files, until recently... Something sinister has started happening with the Philips DS2 files I'm being sent - from 3 completely unrelated sources. I have encountered the same problem with each. I have been using Express Scribe the free version for 4 years without a problem. Recenly I have received DS2 files that I need to play, but will not play. I went to the help website and was told that the Pro version will play DS2 files once I activate and register which I have done. It still will not play the DS2 files. I also downloaded all of the codec etc the website recommended without resolution. Then in a desparate attempt I downloaded the free switch file converter, but even that will not convert them. We are currently using switch to convert uploaded audio to a workable format on the backend and are using something like: switch.exe -hide -clear -convert $SOURCE -format .wav -settings .wav PCM16 22050 1 -overwrite ALWAYS -outfolder $DIRDEST -exit with a lengthy (about 40 minutes) DS2 file. This seems to work perfect in version 2.03 in a matter of seconds; however, in version 4.6 it will stalled for 5 to 15 minutes and the outputed file only had the first 20 minutes of audio, the last 40 minutes was silence. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any help or feedback wou
