17:10 01/05/2020 Hi. I used to occasionally use windows movie maker, but it seems to not have been continued with Windows 10. So I'm trying videopad. I have a 2h52m video which is too quiet. I imported it to videopad (8.35), hit select all, then amplify, increased the percentage from 100 to a higher figure, (also I tried Normalize), but then I cannot find anything to press to apply the changes. I tried pressing ENTER on the keyboard, but nothing seems to happen, Surely there should be a box to press using the mouse, and shouldn't there also be a notice saying "your changes have been applied"

I want to amplify just the left channel by 15% or so. To express it another way: I want to change the stereo balance on an .mp3 file. Seems like an easy, basic edit. How do I do that? I can view the channels separately, but can't figure out how to select one channel and not the other. Please advise.

Hey everyone, just a nice idea, ease of life update idea I had is if when you added an amplify effect on audio, the linear graph of the audio increased with the gain. If I have quiet audio and I amplify it, this would make the little spikes show to represent things.

Is it possible to make edit multiple files of the same audio and combine them to amplify certain audio layers and reduce certain audio layers.

Is it possible to increase the volume of certain noises if you separate the same audio file into multiple tracks, edit them and merge them together to get a louder background noise and a lower foreground noise.

I am running Wavepad for Mac v5.82 and it seems that amplify does not work in batch mode. Is this a known problem and if so are there plans to fix it? much thanks john

Amplifying does't work in batch process. I use wavepad master version 5.5.4. Step 1 : Add folder work1, some m4a files there Step 2 : Add command "amplify" with gain 12% Step 3 : Choose Same type file and output folder work2 Output files were created in work2, however those were not amplified, same as original files in work1. I also tried 'Echo" effect command in same way. That works correctly.
