  1. Ah ok, thank you! I think I'll look into using Wavepad too then :).
  2. Hello! Thank you for your response. As far as the differences between the waveforms go, the music volume levels don't sound natural due to the newly imposed compression. Currently, I am using version 10.95, how current is that? Thanks for the checkbox tip! It was checked, but after I unchecked it there was no change. I think it's because ultimately it's a compression and not a normalization issue. Update: I updated the software and that did help a little, but some automatic compression is still present.
  3. I'm experiencing this same issue. Do any developers have any insight on this?
  4. Hello, I'm trying to put together a video to showcase a new song I'm making, but when I add the audio to the video, the audio in both the preview player and an exported video sound overly compressed, squashed, or limited. Every time there's a peak in the audio, it sounds like it hits a hard wall. Essentially, the quality of the music goes way down compared to the original song file--and the original song file isn't even that large in terms of space. Is there any way to change a setting so that way the original sound quality is preserved? This is a really big deal for me since I'm a small composer trying to get noticed :). Link to Google Folder containing files to compare: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1W9Kv-in-uiz2cX9Ad3N0-EsfiME4R8N3?usp=sharing I should also mention that this happens both with .Mp3 and a .Wav version of the song :). Thanks, James
