Many thanks for your reply Chris. It would appear to be a fairly simple fix. Perhaps in a future upgrade.

I have Wavepad Sound Editor running on Windows 10. I would like to be able to record streaming audio from my PC with the speakers muted, Is this possible? If so, how can I do it? I have tried plugging headphones into the headphone jack. This will normally work but in this case it doesn't. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.
