Good morning; I have a question for the experts here :) We've been making videos for a few years and we are trying VideoPad right now. The software seems good enough and it's ideal for beginners. The latest 64 Bit version works okay for us, and it's a reasonable price too, though the taxes hurt a little when buying it in UK. It's hard to convey the problems here but we want to make a grid of mini videos. A few seconds of six or twelve mini videos in a grid, for intros. Obviously this will be the split screen effect (grids), but it isn't quite working for us in VideoPad. Obviously the effect works but we are doing it all wrong, because we end up with big gaps when we actually want all the mini videos close together. On a side note, we installed VP on a spare Optiplex 790, 16 GB RAM, Win 10 Pro, with an i7 2600 @ 3.40. Also an SSD. It works though it struggles at times. But it's worth adjusting Windows 10 settings and we've given priority tasking to Videopad. Disclaimer, people should know what they're doing before messing with settings - just thought that was important to remember. Moreover, we resize our images and videos down to manageable megabytes, which helps Videopad to cope. I'd think the same would apply to any video editing software. Cheers and have a good Easter.
