  1. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/b58ersp3gucfjt6hrxdt9/h?rlkey=19tsmcgvek94yzazw8xj7xgwu&dl=0 The orginal file was corrupted because I didn't follow the smart practice you list here. I'd never had a problem before altering the meta data until the most recent upgrade in software. I know better now. I have camera audio for these files, but that's useless to me. This is a Zoom H2 mic (original model) at 96.24 over a crappy piano with tons of character. I'm hoping you can recover these 3 takes for me? Thank you in advance for your efforts... RYNO
  2. Switch Audio Converter 11.09 Mac OS 12.7 Recorder - Zoom H2 (original, not the H2n) Format: 96k 24bit Stereo .Wav audio I use Switch all the time to add meta data to files, as well as a cover art. I often must make .mp3 versions of higher res files. I usually select the option to modify the original files with the information. In this instance, I was doing the above task. I've done this before. The only thing that was different was I was using the latest 11.09 software. I had takes 1-14, but I only modified 3, 11, 14. The usable takes. Sadly, it made an .mp3 + .wav file with "success", but now BOTH FILES do not open in Quicktime, VLC, or any of my NLW or DAWs. It's maddening. I've tried altering the extensions (from .wav to .mov) I'm not sure what to do. I spent 6 hours getting this audio and now it's just a hulking file. I sent the files into the support team. I hope they can recover it. Otherwise, I may have to re-do all of this. I should have saved a copy before doing this task. Very unhappy.
  3. After i turned my computer off, then back on, the image showed up. I struggled with this for an hour. I decided to upcovert to .wav, then back down and the album cover I added didn't show up until I restarted the computer. So, I don't know why, but ever since i got 9.3.4 I've been having ghost like bugs such as this. Until further notice, if I run into trouble, I'll shutdown and restart.
  4. Version 9.3.4 Switch Pro Ever since i upgraded to Switch Pro 9.3.4 2022, I've had issues adding audio tags to file conversions. Particularly with Mp3 conversions. I go to add a artist/album/song/genre and album cover image under TAGS > selecting a .png file. I'm not modifying the original file. When I convert, the resulting file lacks an image, but has all my metadata. Anyone else? PS - Ive also had trouble with .mp4 source files getting corrupted if I select "Apply changes to source files and converted files" in the tag window. CATASTROPHIC corruption of the original file and no conversion.
