This issue is still ongoing. I have a licensed copy of VideoPad Professional 11.01. I just placed two clips into the que and pulled them down to splice together. They are both black on clips, preview and timeline which makes it impossible to splice them as it is scene dependent. What a waste of money for this POS software.
