I have several voice audio files that were recorded in mp3 format at 40k bitrate and 44.1 sample rate. When I open the files, the only thing I am editing is the volume (sometimes) and the blank space before and after the speaking. When I save the files, the settings are still at 44.1 and 40k. HOWEVER, when I check the sample rate after they are saved, it shows up as 32 instead of 44.1 (even though I didn't change anything). I really need the sample rate to stay 44.1....does anyone know how to fix this?
