  1. If you have IVM, you could set up a dial list that calls the participants, plays a message for them to press something to accept or decline the conference, and on accept do a blind transfer to Quorum's extension.
  2. Nope...as of 2.18 this bug still exists. There should be the ability to set exactly the IP's to use for all the products, including Axon, IVM, and Express Talk, and if Axon needs two IP's we should be able to set them both, and as long as the IP's are on the NIC they should adhere strictly to those. Failover to the first IP on the NIC is fine if the specified IP's aren't valid.
  3. I don't see anything in IVM 5.04 Help about blocking by partial CID...at least not in the global settings...submit a feature request. It can be cobbled together in a chain of startup OGM's and/or an external app that you pass in the CID and it returns a local variable (true/false) that you can then use to direct how the call proceeds (or not).
  4. Direct your Option 2 to a new OGM. New OGM Properties General Tab - Set a Wav file telling them to enter the PIN - Set the Wait time for long enough for them to enter it. Key Response Tab - Select Data Entry at the top - Click the Help button and read that
  5. Doesn't look like IVM supports this directly. You'll have to set up multiple lines with the provider and in IVM with their individualized CID's, then prefix your numbers to dial with a dial plan code and set up dial plans for each prefix to choose which line to use and strip the code digits.
  6. Just installed latest Pocket Express Talk on an AT&T 8525 Windows Mobile 6 phone. All working fine except the following: 1) Audio is coming out of the loud speaker instead of the normal listening speaker, as if it's always on Speakerphone. 2) Bluetooth headset is ignored completely. I've been through the Audio Wizard and tried all the options. There is -NO- Bluetooth selection for Audio In. There -IS- a Bluetooth selection for audio out, but nothing is heard in the wizard or in a call when that is chosen. I would like to purchase the Business Edition for the 8525 phone and my laptop, but need to resolve these issues. Normal cellular calls on the phone and ET on the laptop (Asus Win7) work fine with the same bluetooth headset, so it's not the equipment.
  7. I have Axon installed on a server that has multiple public IP's assigned to it. I've configured Axon to use one of them (not the first IP on the NIC), and Axon ignores this and takes the first two IP's on the NIC as Private and Public, respectively. Oddly, to connect to Axon from my HT503, it works for the IP that Axon has picked for its Private IP, not the Public one. Neither of these IP's are what I set in Static IP. UPNP and STUN are both turned off. Additionally, I have Axon's Internal Voicemail enabled, and it registers extensions 500 and 501 at 127.0.0.1 instead of using any public IP. When I call another extension from my HT503 and it tries to go to voicemail, the call disconnects in 2 seconds and nothing is recorded. Static IP I set was 65.111.244.13 which is the 6th or 7th IP on the NIC IP 65.111.244.8 is the first IP on the NIC IP 65.111.244.6 is the second IP on the NIC ========================================================= 06:31:11 Restart telephony engine 06:31:11 SIP Private IP is: 65.111.244.8:5060 06:31:11 SIP Public IP is: 65.111.244.6:5060 06:31:11 Attempting to register sip:500@127.0.0.1 06:31:11 Attempting to register sip:501@127.0.0.1 06:31:11 Registered as: sip:500@127.0.0.1 06:31:11 Registered as: sip:501@127.0.0.1 06:36:28 Call 101 -> sip:102@65.111.244.8 06:36:34 Incoming SIP call 06:36:34 Answering call... 06:36:34 Call 101 -> sip:102@65.111.244.8 answered 06:36:41 Recording File: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\tmpFE.tmp 06:36:43 Call has disconnected 06:36:43 Recording file dropped because it was not long enough. ... during this interval I was speaking to what should have become a voicemail message ... 06:36:50 Call 101 -> sip:102@65.111.244.8 disconnected
  8. Your description is a bit conflicted. For Express Talk to dial out through Axon, it would have no information about your SIP provider...Axon has that. In your Lines tab of Express Talk Options, you should be putting in the IP address, extension number, and password to Axon. In Axon, make sure the extension you're using has the dial plan you want selected.
  9. Concurrent calls depends on your bandwidth (outbound/upload speed in your particular case of message delivery) and the number of channels per line from your provider. Number of lines isn't a factor. IVM doesn't care how many calls you have going at once, inbound or outbound or a mix. IVM can put all the calls on a single line at once. Another factor is CPU and memory, so watch IVM on a single call, two, and three concurrent calls on a line as a test and see where CPU gets to so you can project the additional load of more calls. My point is you may not need the 64-line version if you're piping all these calls through a single SIP provider account...you only need one line with many channels.
  10. Short answer is "Did you try it?" There is nothing in the docs suggesting that wildcards would work. They do say that if a mailbox matching the input target doesn't exist it will be created by cloning the Default mailbox (which is why you can't delete it). I ran into this as well, as I created my mailboxes with sensible names, then realized that IVM can't translate numbers to mailbox names directly, and ended up renaming them to 3-digit extension numbers. Axon has display names, so I matched those to keep them straight. Obviously I have more boxes than extensions, but at least some of them match up. While I agree that mailboxes should have both a DID number and a friendly display name, there is a work around if you REALLY want to have nice mailbox names, but it's terribly convoluted, and impractical if you have lots of them. Essentially it's a matter of setting up a bunch of empty OGM's where each one checks the DID and if it matches nnn then "Leave Msg For Mailbox ___" and if not go to the next of these OGM's. The last one in the chain would have to either use the Default mailbox or take the caller to an OGM that says "No such mailbox" and return to your main menu or wherever. If you have just a few boxes, not so bad, but if you have dozens, and/or they change with some frequency, this can get to be a hassle to maintain. Another option would be a plugin that takes nnn dialed by caller and returns the correct mailbox name for IVM to use in "Leave Msg for Mailbox ____" but again, this is a maintenance issue in that you'd have to keep a separate lookup file someplace for your plugin to reference and you'd have to update it every time you add/removed/modified your mailboxes. In either case, seems like more trouble than it's worth to solve a cosmetic issue.
  11. ok - I'm just curious - can one of you tell me exactly what the attraction is to VoIP on a cell phone? It's a phone already, right? Voice call minutes are included in your plan, usually with some level of free long distance, but bandwidth over cellular is more expensive and typically not very fast...what am I not seeing?
  12. Two computers with Express Talk installed and configured to connect to Axon on public IP Both can call each other and talk / hear correctly Intercom between them also works Conferencing in a 3rd extension WORKS Hold / Transfer both disconnect in exactly 6 seconds Tried with and without Music on hold server - same result Tried with default and different on-hold ringtone - same result In either case, caller being placed on hold (or transferred) hears nothing for 6 seconds, then disconnected. Any ideas?
