I will try downloading the ASIO4All and see if that works... maybe it will. I am recording directly onto mixpad through my PC no additional hardware used. If this doesn't work if I route through at mixer will that work?

As a non musician recording basic tracks with vocal and sountrack and maybe a harmony... I keep getting the same script on monitoring myself as I record and I don't understand it.. I expect I am not the only one.. I don't know what you mean by use existing hardware... my existing hardware is JUST a PC. If i get a simple mixer or USB interface will that work? I just want to be able to hear myself when I record. This really needs to be automatic in future upgrades.
