The Narrator

I have used Wave pad for over 10 years I am sure. I don't remember this problem in previous versions. When I listen to the last few seconds of the recording, after I edit it, it doesn't stop playing at the end it immediately returns to the beginning of the audio wave. This is not helpful. If I don't catch this and begin recording again, I have started recording at the beginning of the audio wave and not the end. I can't find a way to stop this.
